As we approach the New Year, Bec and I are gearing up for another year of excitement, challenges and growth potential for EPS. Just in this one year so much has happened and we are excited to see what is in store as 2012 approaches. Many of you are wondering what happened to Remote Assistance or are wondering what happened to the website and possibly have wondered why I have not contacted you. Don't worry I have not gone anywhere we have just had some interesting challenges these last few weeks.
Subscriptions are still growing! More and more people realize the potential of having all of their computers covered in one manageable plan and although they are paying each month, quarter, semi-annually or annually not having to worry about One-Time Service Fees is attractive when you are unsure how your computer will be functioning.
Remote Assistance is back and Lord-Willing will be funded through the monthly subscriptions. Rather than use an unknown company I am going to work with Citrix. Citrix is a well diversified company that provides Virtualization and Remote Utilities for many businesses Worldwide. EPS, LLC. is proud to announce the use of Goto Assist Express as we explore the usefulness of their product line in it's entirety as it applies to Computer Services in the years to come. Using Goto Assist Express I will be able to provide Attended Support over the internet with you at your computer, Unattended Support and run your patches and updates for you, as well as assist up to eight customers at the same time. This will allow me to really get a handle on the provision of this service, work out Quality Assurance and Control Policies that will drive the business when I need to start staffing workstations, determine what hardware will work best to provide the best support and overall simply allow for a better Customer Service experience overall.
After the events of the last few months Bec has decided to take a more active role in the business and in February will become an active Owner/Operator of it. I will still be handling all Computer and Network related issues Bec will be working on her own Graphics Design and Photography aspects of the business, the website may change in appearance a few times as she will be allowed full control of the appearance of the website and the templates we choose to design or use as the business moves forward.
Currently, the color scheme and images we are using on the website are actually a Bec-Original of the inside of one of our computers (close-up of a motherboard) cut and tweaked to focus on what she wanted to display then cropped as a header image. We chose colors that would accent the image as a Header for the overall look and feel of the website.
